Gilbert Henry, a master goldsmith, qualified with Jewellery Design and production skills from the Crafts Council of Ireland. He then went to London's Hatton Garden for extended training in diamond setting. He has since designed and made jewellery in Bermuda and Hawaii, working there with top end gem stones and the South Sea pearl.

With the ability to develop unique ideas, Gilbert creates contemporary, bold and intelligent jewellery. But what sets him apart from other jewellery designers is that which cannot be taught... natural talent to capture a simple yet ingenious form and transform it into beautiful jewellery.

Creating amazing pieces in gold, platinum, palladium and silver, Gilbert is well known for his passion for each design and the story it tells.

Commissions are welcome at his workshop on High Street Sligo.
